The 21st century is the time that various problems, involving the global environment, must be seriously reconsidered. The large quantities of mass production and consumption in the industrial structure, based on oil resources, have caused environmental problems that have been left behind without resolving them. There is no doubt, whether in developed or developing countries, that this is an urgent matter which need to be solved in this century. Indonesia, as a Member State of UNEP (United Nations Environment Program), has to comply & enforce these regulations.
Despite the fact that the quantity of oil sludge generated by oil industries is huge, it is not efficiently treated. On the other hand, processing is considered extremely difficult for various types of industrial waste, and unsuitable processing methods are causing serious soil, and water pollution, as well as air pollution, worldwide. For example, oil sludge at oil refineries throughout the world is not treated at all, but at present, dumped into ponds and left untouched. Our group has aquired a revolutionary jet injection oil separating system to solve this problem, which no other technique for treating oil sludge has been able to accomplish so far. The system of OSS (Oil sludge Separating System) recovers more than 99% oil from oil waste, such as sludge, and leaves a residue with a TPH of < then 1%.
Waste management is also carried out to recover resources from it. Waste management can involve solid, liquid, gaseous, flammable, corrosive, toxic, reactive or nuclear & radioactive substances, with different methods and fields of expertise for each.
Waste management practices differ for developed and developing nations, for urban and rural areas, and for residential and industrial producers. Management for non-hazardous residential and institutional waste is usually the responsibility of local authorities, while management for non-hazardous & hazardous commercial and industrial waste is usually the responsibility of the generator.
PT. YYS Environmental Solutions Facilities
Design, Build, Own & Operate our high standard equipment, all in compliance
with local and international Regulations :
Thermal Treatment
Superheated steam:
Heat energy of steam superheated to a temperature of more than 550 degrees C is jet- propelled from special nozzles. The kinetic energy of shock waves generated from the injection at supersonic speed, is utilized in the separation process.
Speedy heat exchange and colliding shock wave:
The impact caused by the collision of super heated steam at an supersonic speed, instantly separates the sludge into liquid, oil component and solid residue
Clean energy:
Only steam is used as energy for the process
Recovery:
The solid substance or residue consisting of heavy metal, sand, asphaltines and resin with high molecular weight in the oil sludge is separated from the vaporized oil. The vaporized oil is liquefied and recovered by the scrubber and the residue in the cyclone is collected in the residue collecting unit.
